"Data Privacy" Training for Diplomacy Translators as Part of an Interdisciplinary Project

Conducted in collaboration between the Department of Information and Records Management and the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, led by Dr Büşra Özer and with Dr Demet Soyu as a researcher, “Professional Aspects of Information-Seeking Behaviours in Diplomatic Translation and the Implementation of Information Literacy Training: An Interdisciplinary Study”, Dr Vedat Gültekin, a lecturer in the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Programme at the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, Ankara University School of Health Services Vocational College, Dr Vedat GÜLTEKİN, a lecturer on the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies Programme, delivered a presentation entitled “Online Privacy and Data Confidentiality Awareness Among Diplomatic Translators”, providing training for diplomatic translators and sharing his specialist knowledge in the field with the participants.
